Mopping capabilities are also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in an intense clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
In addition to this in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be washed and then dried with the dock and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've tried.
This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mops. If you can justify the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. It has an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos available. Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I tested The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. In addition, its mops aren't as capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's many top-of-the-line features, it requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station has to be emptied and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will require replacement every few months.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features, I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can purchase, its high purchase price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 ProEufy S1 Pro is the Robot Vacuum Mops vacuum and mop that you require to tidy up mess and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has a huge battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. If you opt for this option however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands, allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests, but this may be rectified when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum but it does have several impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've set up. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.
The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like the other Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective however it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot the dangers of carpets that are thick but it might not always detect small things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.
The one glaring flaw of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option which could be an issue for those who do a lot of vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of each session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last traces of dust and debris left behind by your vacuuming. This is a great feature that can help this robot to clean up a bit better than its cheaper competitors.
