LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Stratosphere casino-hotel in Las Vegas is getting a new name. The Las Vegas hotel-casino will shoot fireworks from the highest launch site on the Strip from its 1,149-foot-tall tower. With setting off fireworks, The Strat also will offer views of the fireworks show on the Strip, and the tower itself will be illuminated red, white and blue starting at dusk. Several local celebrities posed for photos before heading into the party, including the casts of FANTASY and Thunder from Down Under, along with Miss Nevada USA 2019, Tianna Tuamoheloa, guitarist and former Guns N’ Roses guitarist DJ Ashba and Murray Sawchuck.
